Here are some shitty videos I took: (shitty because the bitch in front of me couldn't keep her hand out of the air and the sound thing really enjoyed picking up the guitar feedback more than the actual music. x.x If nothing else, just mute them and watch the lights, lol) Also, I didn't get the amazing solos because that's when people started putting their hands up and blocking my view >|
Some start out pretty loud, be warned!
 never let you go (beginning)
 never let you go (ending)

What I want, you've got And it might be hard to handle But like the flame that burns the candle The candle feeds the flame
What I've got's full stock of thoughts and dreams that scatter You pull them all together And how, I can't explain, oh yeah
But you make my dreams come true Well well well you, you make my dreams come true
This song comes on at cvs occasionally, and all I really want to do is dance to it. :D
In seperate news, has anyone else noticed that "refresh(ed)" and/or "fresh" are the new marketing lingos that have replaced "extreme" ?
This refreshed trend has pushed a button with me lately.

| Writer's Block: My Dream Job |
[14 Sep 2009|07:27pm] |
My dream job would be to be a theoretical physicist.
I seriously doubt I'll be one in this lifetime, but maybe in the next. (Or maybe I'll have a chance at being an astronaut :D)

If I were going to manage a coven of vampires, they would be my underlings and do my bidding, bringing me fresh ~twilight~ fans to devour with my sparkly, ancient teeth. They would not play baseball. Blernsball, maybe. Baseball? No.
Or I would lead them in a vampire uprising.
Or perhaps we could collectively run the biggest, most successful rave in the world! 24/7 non stop party!
Better yet, start my own mafia/drug ring and over run the world with a new all powerful drug.
Even still! Conquer a third world country and solve all it's problems by modernizing it over night. (Haha! vampire joke!)
There are so many better things to do with a coven of vampires than make them play baseball
Seriously, who comes up with this crap?

...Have you heard the news? No one gives a shit about the things they do We all waste and consume, destroy and ruin everything we touch It's easy not to think when you're not told that much
I'm not saying anything you haven't heard before I'm just trying to understand the way we are

By far my favorite was The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.
Hands down, the best book of fairy tales.
(I'm not joking about this.)

With my dinner I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri thing
It gave me brainfreeze everytime I drank any.
Even when it was half melted, wtf?
Alcohol hates me and I guess that's just fine.

You had a number of lines in the book about how God needs man to sin so he can punish him. That's an interesting concept, could you speak a little bit about that? I had just done this hideous radio interview in Berlin for German public radio. At one point, I meant to say "Sieht so aus als haettest du all dein Deutsch vergessen," which means "I guess I've forgotten so much German." Only I misconjugated the verb vergessen to vergast, and when I came out of the interview, the publicist was a furious with me. Vergast is the past tense of the verb "to gas people to death." I even said Deutsch wrong — I put an r in it, which turns it into meaning "German people" instead of the language. What I actually said was, "I'm so sorry that I have gassed to death so many German people." I was mortified.
What happened? Did you hear any backlash? No, I fled. I got on a train and I was out of there and I just felt awful. I had insulted thousands of people. How could I say that? And I started thinking, maybe it's our crimes, the things we do hideously wrong, that gives God some pleasure in ending our lives. Maybe it's our sins that give God consolation when he finally has to give us cancer.
I adore Chuck Palahniuk. (interview excerpt from TIME interview) I can't wait to read his new books.

A lot of people underestimate exactly how smart I am, even people who know me, or rather claim to know me.
I guess you could say I'm finally starting to believe in myself.
Let's discuss anything you've learned from the Large Hadron Collider... the fact that it didn't create a black hole and destroy the Earth when it was turned on doesn't count.
I'm not being condescending, I just haven't looked very far into it yet. Seriously, I'll be pretty fucking stoked when I see some findings. I'm talking Weezer touring with Blink-182 stoked.
If you burp loud enough in a wal*mart at night, it echos.

I got lost in south charlotte last night for half an hour, which is strange without a radio my thoughts just run wild It's also strange since it was my first time really being lost. I also passed about 9 cops (including 2 that had pulled someone over on providence near the church where phil, jamie and I almost rearranged the letters on the sign) Eric got my cigarette lighter to work so it doesn't just all come out of the socket and I can do things like charge my phone now I have to work early tomorrow (11! again!)
And I'm really excited to get my check today because I think my raise finally went through so this may or may not be the biggest check I've gotten thus far in my pharmacy career.

So yesterday was the 10 year anniversary of columbine... interesting.
I've somehow missed all the blah blahing about it and all I really have to say is this: Thanks to that event my brothers developed a reputation that they'd be the next one to set bombs in the school and brutally shoot everyone... so I didn't get picked on by anyone who knew my brothers.
Thanks colombine guys, really. You saved me from getting bullied like you were.
